Merry Mischief an ensemble cast of talented musicians who are minstrels of mischief and each show is unique and adds personality, harmony, fun and a lot of entertainment to your next event! Together we will bring you back to a simpler time, relax you, make you tap your feet and we’ll make you giggle!
Merry Mischief has been a long running musical act for the last 20 years. Originally formed as a duo with Merlyn and her mate, Harry, they entertained audiences young and old alike. How’ere, our dear Harry has recently passed away but he wanted Merlyn and crew to all carry on and keep being mischievous in his absence. We will miss him very much, but the merriment and mischief continues on!
Merlyn Fuller (“Merlyn Mischief”) –lead singer, 12 string guitarist, drummer and leader of this motley crew. No, not that one. THIS one.
Merlyn Fuller is a theatrical musician capable of doing many themes and events. She can shapeshift into a Renaissance Bard, Pirate Shantyman, Erie Canal Minstrel, Witchy Songstress or even into a Carol Singing Mrs. Claus, along with being a published Author, Speaker, Wedding Officiant, Intuitive Card Reader and Mother with stories to tell.
Jonathan Anderson- is an engaging storyteller of Erie Canal facts and policing history from the early days. He also may pull your leg by stretching the blanket a bit with his fun stories.
Kristen Baskewicz (“Kissy”) plays bodhran, mandolin, and recorder, is a classically trained soprano, professional flirt, and randy wit.
Dan Cleveland– (“Finn” –short for “Finish me Guinness”) is long-time guitar and percussion player and drinker of fine Irish whiskey and stouts.
Michael Edwards – (“Greenway the Minstrel”) Is a phenomenal multi-instrumentalist, who really needs to come out of his shell, as you can see here.
John Harnois- (“Fiddlesticks”) is an accomplished violin player who has played on many high-brow stages and who probably wonders how he ever wound up here.
Stephen McSweeney– (“Fishbait Phil”) is a fun drummer, who carries heavy items and is also shark bait if we need to trawl for dinner.
Tom Meier (“Tom O’ Bedlam” or “Mad Tom” or on most days, “Slightly Agitated Thomas”). Living proof that you can’t always see crazy. Mandolin and Banjo player with great respect for old songs.
Marjory Witty- (“Ms. Mizzenmast”) a fine percussionist, washtub bass player and our onboard Pirate Laundress.
